Hydraulic Fitter
Our client in Howick is looking for a Hydraulic Fitter with a trade test , knowledge fo mechanics, drives, gearboxes, pnuematics, hydraulics; ability to fault find in the hydraulics and mechanical field. Must be able to read and understand hydraulic and mechanical drawings
| Carry out planned maintenance schedules as instructed. | |||||||||||||||||
| Carry out daily plant checks as instructed | |||||||||||||||||
| Attend to breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs in the shortest possible time. | |||||||||||||||||
| Carry out services and repairs to hydraulics, pneumatics and other mechanical equipment. | |||||||||||||||||
| Accurately record all work done on job cards or on planned maintenance shedules. | |||||||||||||||||
| Report all serious defects repaired or not to the Mechanical Foreman or Engineering Manager. | |||||||||||||||||
| Carry out safety inspections on equipment and plant as instructed. | |||||||||||||||||
| Undertake installation and modification of equipment and plant as instructed | |||||||||||||||||
| Undertake any reasonable request of the Mechanical Foreman or Engineering Manager
