Core responsibilities of the position will include

Data Mining and statistical analysis in comprehensive written reports or sampling plans
Generates and analyzes process control charts to identify irregularities and errors
Analytical Strategy Design
Build, leads or participates in the development and implementation of statistical models and sampling plans for application in validation
Model Implementation
Dashboard development
Project Management (Lead and support of projects)
Lead and support Problem Solving
Business Engagement
Serves as a statistical analysis subject matter expert for assigned projects

Required competencies and abilities will include

University Degree in Statistics, Maths, Actuarial Science, Engineering or Computer Science
Master’s degree advantageous
5 yrs experience analysing qualitative and quantitative data
3 yrs experience building predictive models
3 yrs experience using simulation tools
3 yrs experience in analytical software i.e. R, Python, Minitab, SPSS, Watson Analytics)
Knowledge of relational databases (SQL, MS Access or other)
Ability to work with structured and unstructured data
Experience in implementation of theoretical models
Ability to work from first principles
