Based in Springs we are looking for a Human Resources Manager. The ideal applicant must have 5 years Generalist experience in a unionised environment, a Degree with a post grad qualification would be a strong advantage.
Provide a comprehensive HR Service to the operation on all aspects of people management including employee relations management.
Provide advisory support to line and in depth understanding of all policies, procedures, labour legislation and related processes.
Driving and implementing strategic human resources initiatives supporting the plant’s strategic business plants, including talent management.
Manage HR administration and HR team
Crafting, coordinating and implementing the Skills Development Plan.
Designing and driving the Employment Equity Plans in line with the strategic business plans.
Knowledge of legislations, LRA, BCEA, EEA, OSH, COIS, SDA
Influencing management decision positively through contributing , interpreting and analyzing relevant HR information and metrics.
Provide leadership and day to day running of the HR Team
Promote and facilitate team processes
Driving performance management system and other strategive business intitiatives at all levels
Ensuring fair, consistent standards/disciplines within departments of the business.
Contributing in the development and execution of divisional HR Strategy and plans
Implementing and providing support of the plant business improvement process.
5 years in a generalist role in a unionized environment at management level in a manufacturing environment
Degree with a post grad qualificaiton
Excellent knowledge of LRA and other legislation
Computer literate and strong administration skills
Advanced understanding and interpretation of labour laws
Excellent negotiation skills and consultingskills
Good ability to grasp business issues
Possession of a management development program would be an advantage
Registration with Bodies ie SA Board of People Practices would be an advantage
