Security Specialist for night lake patrols

Young, pro-active Security Specialist required to lead a small team patrolling the lake at night of a business based in Zambia.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Previous Military, Police or Private Security Experience required.

Minimum 3 years’ related working experience.

Boat driving experience – an advantage.

Valid South African passport and be available to commence work as soon as possible.

Tech. savvy – able to manage & monitor surveillance equipment.

Able to manage a small team of guards.

Ability to adapt to changing conditions & work in a remote area.

Willing to move to Zambia and work under minimal supervision.

Problem solver & able to improvise.

Responsible & self-driven.

WORK EXPECTATIONS:

Securing water-based and land assets – including but not limited to cages stocked with fish, geed barges, boats, nets etc.

Lead a small team on separate boats patrolling the lake.

Guarding high risk areas.

Intelligence gathering.

Patterning or profiling crime.

Operate radar & camera systems.

Regular routine reporting of incidents and operations.

SALARY:

Basic plus monthly incentive bonus.  Housing provided. Transport arranged. One meal daily shall be catered for.
